Camera-Ready Instructions (Main Conference)

Regular and Special Session Papers

The following information is provided to help you prepare and submit your final paper, as it will be published in the proceedings of ACII2024.

Requirements

  • All papers MUST be formatted according to the Camera-Ready Templates of Microsoft Word or LaTeX tailored for ACII2024. Submissions must be in PDF format and are limited to a 10MB file size.
  • The main body of the paper, through the conclusion, can be up to 7 pages. The Ethical Impact Statement can take up to one page (additional to the 7-page limit of the main content). The references do not have a page limit.
  • All accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of the authors. Please refer to the Registration page for detailed information on author registration requirements. Failure to register before the deadline will result in the automatic withdrawal of your paper from the conference proceedings.

Preparation of the Paper

Please follow the guidelines hereafter to prepare your camera-ready paper.

1. Camera-Ready Templates

The following style files and templates are available for users of LaTeX and Microsoft Word:

2. Check and Add the Copyright Clearance Code Notice

Please select the copyright information that applies to you and add it to the bottom of the first page of your source document.

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 979-8-3315-1643-7/24/$31.00 ©2024 Crown
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 979-8-3315-1643-7/24/$31.00 ©2024 European Union
  • For all other papers, the copyright notice is: 979-8-3315-1643-7/24/$31.00 ©2024 IEEE.
3. IEEE Xplore Compliance Using PDF eXpress

Before submitting to the ACII2024 website, all camera-ready submissions MUST be checked for IEEE eXplore compliance by using the PDF eXpress service at IEEE PDF eXpress: Login (ieee-pdf-express.org).

First-time users should do the following:

  1. Select the “Create account” link.
  2. Enter the following:
    • 63134X for the Conference ID
    • your email address
    • a password
  3. Continue to enter information as prompted. 

An online confirmation will be displayed, and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup. Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.

You can also use PDF eXpress to convert your source file(s) to IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF. ACII 2024 will NOT accept camera-ready papers that are not IEEE Xplore-compatible. Please be aware that the submission of your paper to PDF eXpress for IEEE eXplore compliance check does NOT mean that you have submitted your camera-ready paper to the conference. After you receive the pdf file from PDF eXpress, you need to submit it through the EasyChair system of the conference.

4. Paper and Copyright Submission

Electronic Paper Submission

  1. Only PDFs that are verified or generated by IEEE PDF eXpress can be accepted as camera-ready manuscripts and updated.
  2. Authors can upload the camera-ready paper on EasyChair by visiting “My Submissions for ACII 2024” => “view” => “add or update files”.
  3. Authors can also update their paper information on  EasyChair by visiting “My Submissions for ACII 2024” => “view” => “update information”.

eCopyright Form (eCF) Submission

Please submit your camera-ready paper first. After the submission of the camera-ready paper, corresponding authors will receive emails from IEEE with links and credentials to access their individual eCFs and submit them. Please submit your eCF as soon as you receive the email from IEEE.
