ACII 2025 Travel Bursary

Thanks to the support of the Association for the Advancement of Affective Computing (AAAC) and our sponsors, the ACII 2025 conference announces a limited number of travel bursaries available to students and early-career researchers to support costs associated with attending the conference. These travel bursaries consist of a partial reimbursement of costs after the conference (in the order of AUD500-800).

Applicants must have registered for ACII 2025 and attend the conference in person.

To apply for a travel bursary, please send an email to finance-chairs@acii-conf.net (Subject: ACII 2025 Travel Bursary Application + Your Name) and provide justification for why travel support is needed, what costs you have incurred in the course of attending ACII 2025 (please provide documentary evidence), and what institutional support is available to you. If you are willing to volunteer during the conference, then please note that in your application.

Subject to the total amount of funding available and the number of applications, the ACII 2025 organising committee will make a decision on whether an application can be supported and the value of support. Factors taken into consideration include the distance travelled to Canberra, the country of residence, and the availability of other support. We also aim to support greater diversity.
