Call for Special Track Proposals

Call for Special Track Proposals

The organising committee of Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction (ACII) 2025 is now inviting proposals for Special Tracks to be held in parallel with the general conference track. ACII is the flagship conference for research in Affective Computing, covering topics related to the study of intelligent systems that perceive, express, or otherwise use affect.

Special track proposals should center on emerging research fields without duplicating themes covered in the general conference topics. Each track is expected to facilitate engaging discussions on state-of-the-art, emerging, visionary, and potentially controversial subjects. Papers submitted to these tracks should present noteworthy unpublished research and adhere to the same standards as main conference papers. Submission and review of papers for accepted special tracks will be handled through the same platform as the main track. Accepted papers will be incorporated into the conference proceedings.

Special track organisers will be responsible for soliciting and reviewing papers. Special Tracks chair(s) will interact with accepted track organizers to ensure a high-quality program.
