Call for Tutorial Proposals<\/h1>\n

We welcome tutorial proposals, which cover topics related to the ACII 2025 theme at introductory or advanced levels to complement the main conference program. For ACII 2025, the conference theme is \u201cSocially Responsible Affective Computing<\/i>\u201d. The goal is to ensure robust data privacy, clear ethical guidelines, and regulations around the use of emotional data. Additionally, to improve the transparency, accountability, and mitigating biases in affective computing systems. As such, we encourage tutorials that support responsible and transparent affective computing research and application.

The tutorials can be organised as either half-day (preferred) or full-day events and will take place at the same venue as the main conference. <\/span><\/p>\n

Submission Instructions for Tutorial Proposals<\/h2>\n
Send your proposal to the workshop chairs by email: <\/span>tutorial-chairs@acii-conf.net<\/span><\/a><\/span> (max. 3 pages, PDF-format).
Your email must use (mandatory) a subject line in the following format \u201cACII 2025 | [Your Tutorial Title]\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n

The proposal needs to address the following points:<\/span><\/p>\n

half-day, full-day (Note: Half-day (3h) tutorials are preferred and are the common ACII tutorial format; Full-day (6h) tutorial proposals have to justify for the additional value)<\/span><\/p>\n

of Presentation Format and Style (several presenters, video conferencing, specific media, etc.)<\/span><\/p>\n

We encourage tutorial presenters to publicly share tutorial materials if possible (e.g. presenters\u2019 webpage and\/or ACII2025 website).<\/span><\/p>\n

Proposals will be reviewed in a confidential manner, and acceptance will be decided by the ACII 2025 Tutorial and Program Chairs. They will be evaluated based on the impact, quality, interdisciplinary character, presentation format, theme, and relevance to the conference. Decisions about acceptance are final.<\/span><\/p>\n
