Camera Ready Paper Submission Instructions for ACII2023 (Regular and Special Session Papers)

The following information is provided to help you in the preparation and submission of your final paper as it will be published in the proceedings of ACII2023.

Requirements

  • All papers MUST be formatted according to the Camera-Ready Templates of Microsoft Word or LaTeX tailored for ACII2023. Submissions must be in pdf format, are limited to a 10MB file size.
  • Papers MUST be no longer than 8 pages (7 pages + 1 page for Ethical Impact Statement and references). Papers that use different formatting from the ACII 2023 Latex or Word templates, have more than 8 pages, will be removed from the proceedings.
  • All accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of the authors. One of the authors must register for the conference (under any registration category) and must register before the deadline given for author registration. Failure to register before the deadline will result in automatic withdrawal of your paper from the conference proceedings.

Preparation of the Paper

Please follow the guidelines hereafter to prepare your camera-ready paper.

1. Camera-Ready Templates

The following style files and templates are available for users of LaTeX and Microsoft Word.

2. Check and Add the Copyright Clearance Code Notice

Please add the copyright notice to the bottom of the first page of your source document.

For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is:

U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright

For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is:

For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is:

979-8-3503-2743-4/23/$31.00 ©2023 European Union

For all other papers the copyright notice is:

3. IEEE Xplore Compliance Using PDF eXpress

Before submitting to the ACII2023 website, all camera-ready submissions MUST be checked for IEEE eXplore compliance by using the PDF eXpress service at IEEE PDF eXpress: Login (ieee-pdf-express.org).

First-time users should do the following:

1). Select the “Create account” link.

2). Enter the following:

  • Conference ID: 59096X
  • your email address
  • a password

3). Continue to enter information as prompted.

An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.

Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.

You can also use PDF eXpress to convert your source file(s) to IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF. ACII 2023 will NOT accept camera-ready papers that are not IEEE Xplore-compatible.

Please be aware that the submission of your paper to PDF eXpress for IEEE eXplore compliance check does NOT mean that you have submitted your camera-ready paper to the conference. After you receive the pdf file from PDF eXpress, you need submit it through the Easychair system of the conference.

Paper and Copyright Submission

Electronic Paper Submission

  1. Only PDFs that are verified or generated by IEEE PDF eXpress can be accepted as camera-ready manuscripts and updated.
  2. Authors can upload the camera-ready paper on Easychair by visiting “My Submissions for ACII 2023” => “view” => “add or update files”.
  3. Authors can also update their paper information on Easychair by visiting “My Submissions for ACII 2023” => “view” => “update information” or “update authors”.

eCopyright Form (eCF) Submission

Please submit your camera ready paper first. After the submission of the camera ready paper, corresponding authors will receive emails from IEEE with links and credentials to access their individual eCFs and submit them. Please submit your eCF as soon as you receive the email from IEEE.
