The conference will be held in Nara, Japan.  This beautiful and historical city will host the 10th ACII International conference.   Nara was the capital of Japan from 710 to 784 and will make a great backdrop to the conference.

Recommended access to venue

Kansai International Airport (KIX) or Osaka (Itami) International Airport (ITM) is the most convenient airport to Nara Station, the closest station to the venue.


The different ways are visualized below with more details following.




Kansai International Airport (KIX) to Nara Station.
Since the Airport Limousine seems to be canceled currently due to COVID, travel by train is recommended.
Here are two transit guides.
  1. Take the Nankai Airport Line from KIX to Shin-Imamiya Station and transfer to the JR line to Nara Station.
  2. Take JR from KIX to Nara Station, transferring at Tenno-ji Station.


Osaka (Itami) International Airport (ITM) to Nara Station.
The Airport Limousine Bus from Osaka (Itami) International Airport (ITM) to Nara is convenient.
There are no reservations for buses departing from the airport.Airport Limousine Bus Information:


From Nara Station to the venue
By walk or by bus.
  • About 20 minutes from Kintetsu Nara Station (Exit #5) and 30 minutes from JR Nara Station by walk.
  • About 13 minutes by bus.
There are two ways to get to the venue by bus:
  1. Take the Nara Kotsu Bus (East Exit #2) at JR Nara Station or the Nara Kotsu Bus (East Exit #2) at Kintetsu Nara Station to the following destinations.Get off at “Nara Kasugano International Forum Iraka-mae” bus stop, bound for “Kasuga Taisha Honden”.
  2. Take the “City Circulation (Outer Circulation)” bus and get off at “Todaiji Daibutsuden/Kasuga Taisha-mae” (3-minute walk from the bus stop).
